About Us
Ruffle + Render Studio was started by Ilona and Gifford James. We live in the vibrant city of Bristol and are passionate about working with local trades and artisans in our projects.
Gifford has over 20 years experience as a CAD draughtsman, there is nothing he cannot draw and is responsible for adding the precision to bring the creative ideas into reality.
After a decade as a project manager delivering multi-million pound projects across the defence industry, Ilona chose to specialise in construction and found a love for transforming commercial and residential spaces through interior design.
We have three children who keep us dreaming big and working hard. Our second home is St Lucia and we have big plans to build a portfolio of holiday homes on the island so others can experience the beauty of the ‘Jewel of the Caribbean’.
